MMM Group

MMM Group Limited is an established multi-disciplinary firm with offices in all of the major centres in Canada. The firm has extensive experience partnering with major landowners and infrastructure providers to accomplish complicated projects in a realistic and implementation-focused manner.

The Ottawa Planning and Landscape Architecture Group specializes in community planning, environmental assessments and climate change adaptation, in local, regional, and international projects.

The high quality and innovative nature of MMM’s planning work has resulted in the recognition of numerous projects by the Ontario Professional Planners Institute (OPPI), the Canadian Urban Institute (CUI), and the Economic Developers Council of Ontario (EDCO).

Meloshe and Associates

Meloshe and Associates Ltd is an Ottawa-based consulting firm specializing in urban planning and land development for both the public and private sectors.  The firm has managed many multi-disciplinary planning teams assembled for the purpose of implementing both innovative public sector plans and private land development projects.

Nancy Meloshe MES, MCIP, RPP and principal of the firm will provide Ottawa-based urban planning expertise to the Rockcliffe team. Nancy has over 32 years of urban planning and land development experience in the Province of Ontario in both the public and private sectors.

IBI Group is a leading multi-disciplinary consulting firm with 78 offices throughout Canada, the United States, Europe, the Middle East and Asia. The firm offers a broad range of professional services in four areas of practice focused on the physical development of cities: Urban Land, Facilities, Transportation and Systems.

The Ottawa office of IBI Group was retained for earlier Rockcliffe studies to examine the existing site conditions and site servicing options.  Canada Lands Company has retained IBI Group to continue providing civil engineering services to formulate sanitary sewer, stormwater management, and water systems at the conceptual level for the Rockcliffe Community Design Plan.

Delcan

Delcan Corporation, founded in 1952, is a Canadian engineering and planning consulting firm with 800 employees of whom 500 are professionals including engineers, planners, architects, information technology specialists, economists and environmental scientists, as well as experts in project management and procurement.

Delcan has conducted many Transportation Master Planning studies for municipalities across Canada including participation in the City of Ottawa’s 2008 Transportation Master Plan.    

In addition, Delcan has also completed Transportation Master Plans for many large growth areas and for institutional and major development nodes throughout the City of Ottawa.

DST consulting engineers

DST Consulting Engineers Inc. is a firm comprised of engineers, scientists and professionals, offering consulting services for over 30 years in environmental and geotechnical engineering, building environmental services, blasting and vibration consulting services, as well as construction testing and inspection services.

DST has also gained considerable experience in major capital projects, particularly in the transportation, manufacturing, infrastructure and mining sectors, as well as numerous developments for government agencies and First Nations.

N. Barry Lyon Consultants

N. Barry Lyon Consultants is a multi-disciplinary real estate consulting firm, involved in virtually all aspects of land development: emerging economic, demographic and market trends, changes in government policy, the pulse of the land development industry, land use planning and development trends.

Clients include financial institutions, private sector land developers and builders, public institutions, and federal, provincial and municipal government agencies.

Momentum Planning and Communications

Momentum Planning & Communications was founded on the extensive experience of Suzanne Valiquet in public engagement and social marketing in the fields of municipal planning, environment and transportation, while working at the former Region of Ottawa-Carleton. . Her firm works closely with community organizations, developers and the retail/commercial sector in an effort to improve the downtown east trade area.

In 2007, Dennis Jacobs joined Momentum. His last position prior to joining the firm was as the Director of Planning, Environment and Infrastructure Policy with the City of Ottawa. Today, Dennis enjoys working with a wide spectrum of clients, providing his expertise to all three levels of government, not for profit, private and institutional sectors.

Canada Lands Company CLC Limited

Don Schultz

As Real Estate Director for Rockcliffe at Canada Lands Company, Don Schultz will oversee the public and stakeholder consultation, Community Design Plan, municipal planning approvals, site servicing, marketing, and sales for the former CFB Rockcliffe site. Don has 20 years of experience in planning and land development as a municipal planner and private consultant to the development industry. Don’s development experience includes projects at all scales, from rural to inner-city high-density developments, infill housing and small-scale retail to large mixed-use community master plans,and official municipal plans. His work for the Alberta Urban Municipalities Association (AUMA) on the Integrated Community Sustainability Planning Tools for Alberta Municipalities has been widely used as a sustainability reference in Alberta and throughout Canada.

Rodger Martin P. ENG.

Rodger is Director, Real Estate responsible for implementing and managing real estate projects located throughout Ontario and Atlantic Canada. For over 30 years, Rodger has  applied his experience in the land development industry (as both a consulting engineer and developer) to the unique challenges of recovering/creating value from urban infill properties that have been left vacant or under-utilized.Since CLC’s inception in 1995, Rodger has been involved in many projects that have integrated various elements of sustainability, including initiatives such as LEED ND.  

Other specialists will be added to the consultant team as future planning and development processes require.
